FUCK!!!
I've just grown a vagina! YOU BASTARD!!! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!
So yeah, this is not my style. But that doesn't keep me from giving you a 5. There's nothing to criticise. It's perfect. Great job.

Good job
It's sappy but accomplished. It belongs in a movie. Sounds organic, that's an achievement already. If you were born a few years earlier, you'd have gotten a steady job composing soundtracks. Nowadays, soundtracks are not this conventional, so you're left making music for NG. Some animator better pick this up, though. It would be a waste if it were to get lost in the audio portal.
This is actually a real scrapped production-music for a 10 minute animation which I was working on about 3 months ago. I worked on the piece for a while, tried to get it to match with the animation, but didn't like how it went.
I just gave up and scrapped it.
3 months later, I decided I couldn't just let it rot in my computer so I decided to take it out and redo parts of it.
The animation btw, was judged for a film festa. It never made it to the silver screen. So I scrapped the animation. And making a new one. :)
Respect
I don't know why there are so many around here making their music sound like old videogame music. You've got all the equipment to make modern music. But those videogame enthusiasts are usually the most accomplished musicians around here. Very good arrangement. Lots of great ideas out there.
Unless you ripped it off of an actual videogame, in which case, kudos to the original composer. And thank you for introducing me to their music.
It's cause I create the music by ear.
lol
Well, it sound like hip hop to me. There IS such a thing as abstract hip hop.
Yes, it is indeed simple. Sounds like you only took an hour to make it (good job if it really did take you 5 minutes). You get extra points for the sense of humor.
Good
It sounds apropriately dark. Love all the sounds you embelished your arrangement with. I'm using cheap speakers so I can't really hear if there's bass but it seems to me like the bass and the main lead are the same. It would benefit from a simple bass line that accents beats so the music is felt rather than heard. If there already is one, ignore me.
The handclaps sound a little off. Maybe you should work on integrating them into the mix.
Otherwise it's going pretty well.
There is a totally different baseline than the main melody.
It's maybe not heard by you, because you lack bass.
For the claps, you're right with that one. I fixed that already ; )
Thx for the review.
Yes I do
Miles Davis is indeed good.
Your music is strange. Sounds like the fruit of a lot of beer. It made me smile so you get points for that. I love the sound that comes in at 1:00.
Get rid of the drums
Get rid of the drums. They don't go with the music at all. It's hard to make music sound interesting sometimes without the drums. But if you can pull it off, you know your music is good. This song is too upbeat for drums. Get rid of them and add some strings instead.
Great mood music
It's great to see someone here who doesn't go for in your face percussion. It's rather subtle, instead. Good atmosphere you create there. Only criticism I'll give: The hi-hats sound slightly awkward and the ending is too abrupt. Done. Great work overall.
thx man;),,,
Slightly sterile
Too mechanical. The drums aren't loud enough and the mix sounds dry, which makes the instruments sound all the more midi-ish. The way it's mixed, with your midi-ish instruments of choice, you'd probably be better off without the drums. Then it sounds like videogame music. If you want to make it "techno", then you need to make the mix alive. The drums must be pushed to the forefront and you need to use effects. Get familiar with compressors and equalisers, or get rid of the drums.
As for the musical content, it seems to me that it may be a little too long for it's own good. I think that in most art forms (literature, film, MUSIC), things should be cut down to their essentials. You only make long music if there's so much content there's no way to cut it short. Yours could be cut short. It's 2 or 3 minutes too long.
Keep it up. I do spot some raw talent there.
hey thanks for the review, yeah i'm a little weak in making drums beats. midi-ish? what do you mean by that?
i did realise it was a little weak in the techno area after i submitted it lol, and i'll keep the videogame genre in mind, it seems most of my songs go with videogame =/
ill keep your review in mind next time i make a song
thanks again ^_^

Agree with Crimson Tonality...
It is indeed generic. Sounds like every single dance song from the early 90s. But that's a hundred times better than sounding like every single mcTrance track that's so hip today. (YEAH, THAT GOES OUT TO ALL THE ARTISTS IN NG, YOU BASTARDS)
So you get extra points for nostalgia.
"City of Sin" is better, though. Don't spend too much time on this kind of music.
